This method supports MacOS 10.6, Snow Leopard, and higher and runs on Intel and Arm processors. You can also install TeX Live 2022 using the TeX Live Unix Install Script. Open RStudio to ensure that everything loads right. This distribution requires Mac OS 10.14, Mojave, or higher and runs natively on Intel and Arm processors.Once it downloads again click to load the drive and then drag the RStudio icon into your applications folder. Finally download the most recent version of RStudio from here.There should be a button that says “Download RStudio for Mac”.
Once it has downloaded click on the file and follow the prompts to install it.Note: If you have a newer Mac with Apple silicon installed you might need to install the version below this with arm64 in the filename (if you aren’t certain, ignore this and if you have trouble talk to me) The instructions walk through how to do this and where to find everything.
